Connect Church loves our community of Chantilly and Northern Virginia. We have joined with our neighbors to make this community a better place to live, grow, and work. Our vision is to serve the needs that exist in order to make a difference in the community as a whole and in lives individually.

Unite in Love

Making strangers friends. Making enemies brothers. Making neighbors community. Jesus came to do this very thing. He removed the divides between Jew/Gentile, slave and free and male and female. He upset cultural norms and called for unity and peace in the middle of unrest. He called for us to be peacemakers. He challenged us to focus on loving God and loving others. This will be our first mission: teaching those around us how to love God first and best and how to love others next. 

Transform Community

Everywhere Jesus went, lives were changed for the better. Following his example, we will make a positive difference in lives by meeting the real needs around us. Connect Groups become loving communities where people can find belonging, meet new friends, and discover Jesus. We train those who learn to follow Jesus into connectors who will draw others into community.

Our Connect Group communities foster individual growth that God will use to transform broken relationships, build families, heal divisions, and break addictions.

Develop Leaders

Jesus spent 3 years training 12 missionary leaders to change the world and gave us the mission to raise up a new generation of leaders. We will train those who follow Jesus to make a difference in their communities. Every Connect Group will train up new missionary leaders. As we see Connect Groups grow and multiply, we see the church emerge out of disciples being made in our region and around the world.

We are a church that begins with caring relationships instead of finding our measure of success in the the size of a crowd. Our focus is on connect groups where real relationships take center stage, like Jesus did with his disciples. We occasionally gather in larger gatherings for celebration, equipping, encouragement and worship.

We focus on making and growing new and better disciples who live as everyday missionaries in their unique missional context (where you live, work, learn and play).

Connect Church is currently gathering missionaries and hub leaders from all over Northern Virginia who are willing to be a part of what God is doing. We dream to one day see everyday missionaries living as gospel lights in every neighborhood in our region.

We are so thrilled about what God has been doing lately. We want to see the church emerge out of disciples being made. We want to teach people to model what Jesus and his disciples did so they effectively live as everyday missionaries within their communities and contexts.

We are glad to answer questions about faith and God. We have classes for people who are exploring faith and God. We also have mentors in place for those who want to deepen their relationship with God and grow in leadership skills.
